What I Am To You

Winter leaves but you’re here to stay… The one I loved – you are my prey… The walls before me shake A back so bare can slowly break… I can hear the cracks and the ones in your voice, But the fate He gave – it’s not my choice, I can talk but words cover my voice To the people I hate – to the people I love, These words I speak – they are just noise… I can paint my fingers and color your soul- I could give you my arms I could give you my love… These rules that your peers had start’ Two different hearts, Each parted; two different parts. I can give you a kingdom, I could give you the sun… But with a person like me? What am I to you? What do you see? Who am I? A question you’d have to ask… But with stupidity like yours, You’re in the middle of the sea and I am at shore. I am at the mountain peak which you cannot see, I am. I am a wonder you won’t solve! This mind of yours, this soul and heart, With me it can evolve- But with the rules you have, And an ego as a shield, With a mind like that… True love is what you cannot feel…
