What Hasn'T Amassed

Dark, heavy, layered dreary clouds Bisk winds whip trees and grass Cars still here and there seeking What each home hasn't amassed Will each home be filled with much love Or will love, warmth be lacking No one knows but those there living Children know the slacking Dark clouds roll in from the southeast Filled with ocean's moisture Will they drip their cold water load Like tears of lost lover

I love the perspective of where the storms come from where you live...We never get storms coming from the southeast, or at least very rarely do we get them! Ours almost always come from the northwest! And we live in the northwest section of the state! This is a tremendous and intriguing poem, such a glorious piece! What a powerful write, Great Work!!

You poem is somber, but reflects the reality of many. Good writing, Sara. Stay well... David
