What Does Poetry Mean To You

Like an addict I need to read and write it everyday, like I'm in some kind of Shakespearian play, should be concentrating at work but what can I say, my mind conjuring up rhymes all through the day, sometimes words just pop up while others delay, Started writing poems after my Dad passed away, it helped me sort things out in a way, not always able to express myself well verbally, poetry has brought me out of my own death valley, it being my newfound love and hopefully not just some passing phase. 11-17-16
