What Does It Mean To Be a Christian

Are You A Christian? I have for you just one simple question… Are you one who calls himself a Christian? What does being a “Christian” mean to you? “Obeying” the ten commandments and the golden rule? Is it a way of life or just a “formality?” Coming under the “umbrella” of Christianity? Do you have a desire to seek after God’s holiness? Do you want to be filled with his righteousness? Living for Christ is making a commitment to him. It’s a daily battle to have victory over sin! It’s following Jesus no matter what the cost. It’s laying down your life and taking up the cross! It’s more than going to church and “doing your thing.” A commitment to Christ is what you must bring! Jesus said to “take up your cross and follow me.” This is the place in life where you need to be! You see, being a “Christian” isn’t simply a “title.” It’s loving Jesus and obeying the truth of the Bible! It’s into the arms of Jesus that you need to be leaning… Allow him to bring to your life a Godly meaning! Accept the life-changing power of Christ right now! Won’t you come before him and humbly bow?
