What Do We Think
When you walk down the street
And look that guy in the face
What happens?
I often think:
What does he think?
‘cause many times we hide behind our masks
And only show what we want people to think
Far more exasperating and bewildering
We also hide behind our real selves
Like they were the usual masks
Not truly distinguishing them from the facades
And make overs
Now consider:
What do we think when we act different
When we are not us
Even more important:
What do we think when we act us?
What then are we?
Consider this:
As a man thinks in his heart
So is he.
