What Are You To Me

< Can one cut out a part of his body and not miss it? Can one remove his heart and still live? Then how can you cut out your flesh and blood and not feel the agony of loss. Then how can you remove your heart and still breathe. For your flesh and blood is your body and your flesh and blood is your heart. For life, forever. Forgive my child, i say, let him be. Forgive and be set free, for you have me.

Beautiful poem, Mary. May be interpreted in many ways. That of a parent speaking to a child, that of God speaking to a believer, or that of anyone who simply cares for another hurting person. 7 and hugs! :) Kim

this one is about a parent and a child. How a parent cut off his child rather than cut off his money, very sad.
