What Are Father's Made Of
In my eyes, a Father is made to be strong and tall.
To catch his children when they fall.
A hint of mischief, a dash of pride.
To help his children on life's ride.
With confidence, his words are true.
Soothing emotions when they're blue.
With gentle hands and a loving heart.
He cares for his children from the start.
He imparts his wisdom as they grow.
His life's experiences to them bestow.
And when it's time for them to move away.
In his heart they'll always stay.
He protects his children from any harm.
With whatever methods - even charm.
He'll listen to their problems one and all.
Always there at a moments notice to take their call.
He races through life to support his family.
With the necessities to make them happy.
When the children are grown it's time to retire.
With other hobbies or activities to acquire.
