What Am I?
I am the symbol of togetherness;
Yet not the emblem of happiness;
I am a simple thought;
Yet hard and sought.
Some ascribe me as for the lame;
Others describe me as their flame;
Some play me like a game;
Others pray in my name.
For some, I am old;
For many, I am bold;
For some, I have gone cold;
For many, I still hold.
I am omnipotent;
The care of a parent;
I am in every song;
The heartbeat all lifelong.
I am the warmth of sunrays;
The joy felt in many ways;
I am the message of affinity;
The carriage of humanity.
