When a friend is down, sad, depressed and withdrawn, it might seem like there's nothing you can say or do. Sometimes this is true.

What about the regret you’ll have? What about your end? What about the music you have? Please, you’re my friend. What about the bonfires? What about your dream? What about your desires? Please, please don’t scream. What about the road trip? What about your fun? What about the sailing ship? Please put down that gun. What about the coffee and cake? What about your wife? What about the chocolate shake? Please come back to life.

Wow, thanks Niall, suicide occurs way too often, only just last Friday an old friend coincidentally, I'm really glad you have been proactive with the trees of hope, that's a beautiful thing to do, life's precious... always. thank you for visiting. :)

I thought I would come back to the beginning and I see you have been here since 2015. I liked seeing your first poem. That suicide line just snuck up on us in next to last verse. Good way to do that!!

It is a sad situation, that many who struggle with the need to suicide don't see that there is satisfaction in the little things like bonfires, dreams and coffee. Your poem is meaningful, thank you for sharing.
