What a Fool

Sometimes I lay awake and wonder What kind of fool I must be Having ever been so careless As to let you slip away from me Now there’ll be ten thousand others Who’ll be knocking at your door The instant word gets out You’re not mine any more Tonight I’m drowning in my sorrows Wondering how far I’m going to fall I’ve made some big mistakes This the biggest one of all
