We'Ve Messed Up

Why do we accept the nonsense like we're all deaf and blind, like the rocks and like the night? The world needs no description anymore, it's dark, it's bad, it's not the world that we once had. But we sit around, we're useless children and like we've tried before and don't want to try again. I sit here, not alone, not wise, in dark, rainy July afternoon writing wisdom in bland sugar lies. When will we at last wake up and see just how badly we've messed up?
