Were I That Man

Were I that man I want to be The man that I wish you to see The one who came to you each night Your senses in the dark excite Emotions that but I set free Were I the one you longed to see And to your heart I held the key The one who set your fears to flight Were I that man But that I were a bel esprit Whose wit and words clove thee to me Unlock your heart, passion incite The smoldering flame of love ignite Two hearts entwined, together flee Were I that man
