We'll Be The Death Of Me

Feels like today is the best day to die
I wouldn't have to battle, I wouldn't try
No holding my breath, I'm ready to go
Let the decay and decadence grow

You swore to be sorry, to salvage me
But you breached your barren apology
The promises made, a gesture so grand
Like trying to capture smoke in your hand

I'm ruined inside, wracked with belief
If I love, I destroy, I curse, they leave
A good day to die, goodbye, be free
I'm not the ghost that you are to me

This is so sad, Jodie!:( I hope that you don't truly believe that your love for another is the cause of stife or a rift in the life of another. Perhaps it's beacuse Mr Right hasn't shown up yet;, not easy to detect while your heart is on a plunge. Keep well, be happy! Mikki
