This is wonderful Michael, very sensitive and you captured the anxiety and emotions so very well. Love the 1st two lines of the second verse. Very well done. Regards Heidie

Wow. Must admit I never put much thought to how an expectant father feels at the moment of birth, as I always felt so much empathy for the mother. An amazing, honest write that opened my eyes in a beautiful way. Well done! Love, Shar

It is so beautiful to hear a father's perspective of this precious moment.....awaiting the birth of your child. With such a heart filled with love, what a lucky child to be coming into your arms. So many are born unwanted. Beautiful words, Michael. Fondly, Carrie

This poem really hit me hard Michael - my older children I failed so bad - Spent most of their lives on the run or in the pen - my 6 year old daughter has never seen me high or had to worry about me and my children who are grown and married now respect the changes I have made and love their dad - I have two beautiful grandsons - I'm sorry I didn't mean to ramble on - I loved this poem
