We Will Be Restored

When our lives come crashing down around us like a hurricane the Lord will build us back up and restore us once again and as he picks us up piece by piece all our hurt and pain he will release he will melt us and mold us and make us even stronger than before and our broken lives he will restore. Amen ISA 57:18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him, JER 30:17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD, 1PE 5:10 And the God of all Grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast to him be the power forever and ever Amen. DT 30 : 3 then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back. 5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

I cannot help but pray that the "restoration" you describe so eloquently will be granted to the people of Haiti, Diane. It seems we never appreciate how good we have it until we see pictures of impoverished countries coping with disasters of this magnitude. A strong, inspiration poem! Love, Carolyn
