We Were Famous

7 june 2013 7:23 am We were famous Desensitized and mesmerized we blindly walk into the night Not hearing nor seeing just following the hum of a distant signal ignorant of the Son Feed us and clothes us entertain us more we will twirl and laugh and dance on your floor Don't give us truth it hurts too much just give us the drug we love so much Serve us disease we don't care our lust is greater than what we care Beat us suppress us till we can not move keep us trampled under your hooves We worship you beast the thing that we hate we know we will never see heavens gate We lost our way by selfishness and greed we thought you would provide all that we need Now here we come into your hell a place not for us but for you to dwell If only we had loved if only we were kind we would not be doomed we would not be blind Sons and daughters of a King we are but we deserted the throne and have strayed to far We lived a life of glamor and fame now our eternity is damnation and flame.
