We Shall Overcome Gloriously With God

“… My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints in the sand, it was when I carried you” (Margaret Fishback Powers). "We Shall Overcome" Opposition—Genuinely God’s Glorious Gain! Amazing grace—victorious voices praying against the opposition. Uplift with enriched enlightenment for God’s healing for humanity. Singing great songs—overcoming odds against ill-will brilliantly. God, bless Your children not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Walking with Your victory stirs in our hearts heightening healing. Free us from the opposition's illness. God, Your words we glorify. Glorify us with victorious grace to defeat parliaments of despair. Bless Your children, refusing to sit in seats of sinners or the scornful. “We Shall Overcome!” Your incredible creation unites us graciously. The shining light of victorious justice, strengthening Your dynasty. Bless us, with delight in Your law, with Your prayers and meditation. Your sincere saving is powerful. You never surrendered to the devil. Your words of glory and strength said, “Get thee behind me satan.” Give glorious grace unto us to say the same, help us today we pray. We are in the wilderness for over 400-day—bless us Your special way. As trees beside rivers of waters, with seasonal fruits, not withering. Entrenched in us Your Amazing Grace, walking Your way always. Strengthen us, defeating evil without relent—we pray with intense. Calvary's cross you overcame, strengthen our resolve against evil. “We Shall Overcome!” Let Your glorious resurrection power prevail. Bless us, not to be like chaffs driven away by the wind. Abide in us! Your Armor we wear—spiritually, saintly, and standing our grounds. Your Belt of Truth defeats lies. You’re the truth and the light. Your Breastplate of Righteousness makes us do right in Your sight. Your Shield of Faith extinguished the enemies flaming arrows. Bless us, not to be sinners or ungodly standing in Your judgment. Your Helmet of Salvation, renew our minds with Your perfection. Your spirited sword, incarnate, shall defeat the devil—"A Liar!” Your sandals we wear 'til You say, “You stand on Holy Grounds." Send us onward, against ill wills with your eternal spirit. Bless us to complete the journey. Don't bring us this far to leave us. © His Excellency, Dr. Amb. Prof. Joseph S. I enjoyed the references to so many important words in our culture that deal with overcoming tribulation. Did you ever see the movie "The Long Walk Home" about the bus boycott of '55? I think it was the "we shall overcome" song that they sing at the end of it. It's so powerful.
