We Parrots

We travel in flocks Hidden in colorful trees Loving warm places We hail from Mexico, Central and South America Our plumage is bright We have high pitched calls We forage on flowers Most of them are not as colorful or as brightly dazzling as we are Christmas colored feathers Strong beaks, and active lungs We make ourselves known In Australia; we may let you glimpse us. We are showy and proud Loving our rich gorgeous plumage We are like drag queens who entertain Crowds in New York and Chicago
