We built this bridge Over steady, unwavering rocks But I still needed your hand to get over them And when we walked through that open field, Houses on the horizon, Your eyes weren’t glazed and hazy So I used them to take in everything For once, I walked a street where nothing else mattered And I’ve been thinking about this a lot But I still don’t know what to tell you
