We Both Agreed
We Both Agreed
I remember when she had awoken
And hair on head was gently stroking
While I wrote more poems for her to read
Which were well-written we both agreed
What is it that all my poems need now?
Should I try to touch them up somehow?
Or only add a little love here and there
About my marriage and for those who care.
How about the time we first had met?
Or maybe something even better yet
When we married and honeymoon went on
And kissed each other from dusk to dawn.
An evening we enjoyed which was great
And next morning woke up rather late
Now that you were my most fabulous fan
I'm glad I now am now your only man.
It was always you who stimulated me so
More than whole world will ever know
He does keep devil away when discouraged
And by God I am greatly encouraged.
