We Are the Same: My First Poem Ever

Open your heart, your soul, and your brain... Strive to be different, but never forget what makes us the same. Many will claim to disdain others for reasons they cannot control. Reasons such as color, belief, culture, language, and goals. Society will continue to fall if this remains! Fall like rain that softens and washes away the clay in which we are all made. All men and women are born with eyes, ears, arms, hands, fingers, lungs, legs, feet, and toes... These are all similarities that no one chose. We all have mouths, tongues, hearts, blood, bones, and a nose... So why does mankind continue to fade instead of grow? Let these words shiver your spines and corrupt your minds in which we all have! To claim or believe that you are better than any person is a crime! At the moment, mankind is covered in slime and filth! Preying on the weak with no means other than MEANINGLESS WEALTH! They do it in stealth and don't care at all about your health or well being! But there must be something else we're just not seeing. They've blinded us like sheep just searching for meaning. But inside every sheep ROARS the heart of a lion, gleaming and BEGGING to cry out in DEFIANCE! I am SICK of the violence and CAN NO LONGER HOLD my silence! I REFUSE to sit back and watch as humanity gets SLAIN! Life is more than just a silly game and fear SHOULD NOT be any ones claim! Don't continue to refrain from seeing the worlds pain, ACKNOWLEDGE IT! There are only three paths in this life, so be wise and pick a lane...
