We Are Human
We are human, yes indeed
We live, we die, we cry, we need
We are different but all the same
And for that there is no shame or blame
We live this Earth we breathe its air
But most find it hard to share
We walk its paths, we drink its streams
We all take in the Sun’s warm beams
Yet there are those who constantly fight
About who is wrong and who is right
Is there not more to our lives
Than petty quarrels, grief, war, or strife?
We are different but all the same
And for that there is no shame or blame
We live this Earth, we breathe its air
But most find it hard to share
We walk its paths, we drink its streams
We all take in the sun’s warm beams
We are human, yes indeed
We live, we die, we cry, we need
