Wayward Soul
So many tears have fallen,
countless times I've cried
such carnage to my heart
the day that you did die.
Memories are left, and must sustain,
a life I live with doubts,
the woman I loved so thoroughly
must try to live without.
You gave my life such meaning
and shaped just who I'd be,
two peas, so close, in single pod
no telling you from me.
We clicked as one, lives filled with fun,
those days now gone forever
this wayward soul, seeks a sun,
like days we had together.
