Wave Ripples
Little brittle ripples to dance
propagate with flow of river.
Me watching on stream strand in trance.
Dry leaf falls on wave to shiver.
Wave cradles as if care - giver.
Leaf surrenders on whims of wave !
Hardly matters if shaky or brave.
Being carried with river flow,
leaf lying on wave has to behave
as river directs, fast or slow.
