Water On the Mind

Water On The Mind Dig a hole inside the desert mine One that reaches far beneath Bring me water from its depths To drink from the bottom up Down at the farthest reaches Bottom water is the best Tasting cold and mineralized Arsenic and cyanide contaminate More than ninety percent of Earths water wells Slaves know this fact as well Run some tests before you bring well water here The slaves are thirsty all the time Countless troubles keep them occupied. Give them the water first to drink Let them have something else to think about Water on the mind If they survive all is well With water from the mine

How dangerous are the contents of well water? A work to get one to thinking. Sara

Hi Sara, Thank you for commenting. The truth is, most wells are not potable. You could die if you drink the water. In the past, the test would be to let the poor people drink water from a new well. If they lived you could use the well. The same is true of berries and plants. Cave men did not have scientists to test their foods. It was all trial and error. "Here Mikey! Eat this!" Mikey eats anything.... Today, all wells are tested using scientific techniques. Most wells are contaminated. That is why water is so precious in so many lands. Have a great day. Earl
