Watch the Snowflakes Fall

Watch the Snowflakes Fall I am dazed As I stand beside my window And watch the snowflakes fall. I am struck The sudden changes in the air And beauty of it all. I see white Patterns when with their playful dance Form drifts out in the cold. Not surprised When the browns and greens of Winter Are white when snows unfold. The landscape Musters changes as the snowflakes Continue now to fall. Blinded now As the wind and snow surrounds me Not in control at all. I am amazed At the awesome scene before me The beauty and mystique. I have heard Two flakes are never just the same That each is so unique. If I thought About the number of flakes here Lying all about me. Lost would be All the wonder and the beauty In all that I now see. So rather I Don’t choose to ask these questions as I watch the snowflakes fall.
