Watch Out
Mother did not say, "Watch out,"
How could she have known way back then
That I was lured down to the dark
And was slayed in the lion's den?
Father would not say, "Watch out,"
He was just too upset to see
It was his brother, my uncle
Who did those bad things to me
Sister could not say, "Watch out,"
There was no reason she should learn
She was much younger than I was
As he was eager with each turn
I then stood up, spoke up, "Watch out,"
With open hands and open eyes
I had to come and save the young
That are caused by the bad guys
