Watch No More
That man was never really a part of her life.
His selfish soul wandered from kindred spirit to kindred spirit,
Searching for a light that rarely exists in reality.
His humanity dwindles as he wanders, his faceless emotions just
Lost within himself.
From a tiny glimmer of a hope he thought lost,
He found a fraction of what was familiar, but faint.
Wanting to pursue, he leaves behind the complex entanglement of a life not lived.
For the outsiders watching this delicate dance of self destruction and narcissism,
They see a selfish shell of a human being looking for happiness
Disregarding any souls who love him.
His distant family, his children, his parents are pushed aside
As he wades through a flood of self resentment and fear of being alone.
But his actions towards his flesh and blood will be his ironic downfall.
No one will watch anymore.
This man was never really a part of her life.
A distant man who cares only for himself.
