Wasn'T Love

I close my eyes in wonder what were her thoughts of me in her life. The truth.... It was a lie I wasn't surprised should have seen it in her eyes. Emotion coasting through my thought,s prayed for a bullet proof soul I was sold on false dreams to make a team of two a crown for a queen of love which ended tragically. I thought it was magic. All I know it wasn't love. Come push to shove I'm moving on, must be destiny to be alone. I'm a man tired of lies a long list of goodbyes not going to hide. A mans pride. Amended by love divided by hate what will it take to trust words smoothy spoken by woman? Now isn't that a change or I'm a better man than I thought in search for something that wasn't. Wasn't for me How long would it take for me to see She didn't see me, I must not be him or them in her eyes. Talk about all the things I wasn't.... All I know that it wasn't ......love. She talked about falling I was there to catch her I was willing I should have done better Were we a match, past life maybe, times changed for 2010 games played Must be a slave I am what I am, a prisoner of what wasn't love. Been thinking.... I not around I'm loved more or maybe...it just wasn't what I thought it should have been to win her to love me. It wasn't what it suppose to be for me But for her it just wasn't love. Never was....
