Warped Love

Long, long ago There was a princess So lonely so kind she decided that she wanted a brother She looked into the mirror, thus her brother was created ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I promise to serve you forever into the dark No matter what happens to you, my Lark Even if you tell me to take my lover's life a knife I promise not to love anyone else again or I shall be slain by myself -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No matter how warped you are No matter how far I will follow With my warped eyes My mangled face I shall forgive and forget -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Even so, who knew if that mirror was a boy? It may have been anyone A Figment of imagination that was tossed and folded read over and over until it bent with overuse Who knew? The princess may have been a prince Identity is not always important when you don't know if you are you who is that? Who is who? The questions tumult again, over and over using the same nocturns Maybe, might I? Who am I? the mirror image questions... Who am I? What purpose do I have? Do not question who you are you were born to serve, born to be a slave Nothing more Nothing less not even born just... created A mob comes wanting to overthrow her. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "sister, let us change clothes. I am your twin, your brother, your lover. They can't tell. I live for you, only for you. I promise to live for you and protect you." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The guillotine was sharp cold unforgiving. My sorrow forever My brother My love Dissipates into the wind. WHERE DID YOU GO?! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clutching the invisible warmth left on her hands.
