Warmth Is Enough

R-ed beacon begins to rise, O-n twenty-third December; N-ight chill and violent wind A-re fading into the weather. L-et Thursday evening pass, as the morn starts to break; D-awn denies the twilight, leaving the dusk no chance to take. P-ouring rain disappears, U-nderneath the blue sky; J-ust let the sunlight rise, E-arly rays ascend so high. D-on't let the silent sea become rugged and rough; A-llow your birth to shine, for the warmth is enough.
