Some choose to wear a soldier’s camouflage And take their country’s coin all to defend a Politian’s ideology While ordinary civilians die Sisters without brothers Mothers without sons Children sent to foster homes If the bombs have left them homes unarmed Your deity will not help or take the pain away His mortal representative will just stand over your grave and pray
