Want Or Need

I call my friend To see how she is doing After I say hello,she screams I want! I want! I want! I ask what it is she wants There is no response Then I inquire ,what do you need? She asked,what do you mean? She says to me instead "I want,"I want,"I want" So I hang up to call her later Because I can not chat with her The people who want are sad They do not know the differences Between Want and Need.

Hello Monica, I got this idea from my girlfriend.She always said that she wants but never what she needs.So this poem is about her. Sometimes I get ideas from people I know.

I must say Darlene You have some very, very interesting poems and I do love them all but for some reason I keep coming back to a few of them and this being the most as Jesus teachs us that what we want and what we need are just that and when we need is more so because it is what we us to servive this life and He is the most important of our needs well this poem has a lot of meanings that is just one God's blessings dear
