Waning
The end of an era, the passing of an age, they do not happen in an instant; no they take time to wane. Though still in power, that power now fades. The chains are being loosened, the dark is slowly ebbing away. What comes next only time will tell for sure. But the current darkness is waning, and here I still remain.
