Wanderer

I gaze in wonder at your beauty. Imprisoned in your glass cage. Lifeless now, your corpse on show for coffee breakers to idle away a few moments. Only I understand how you soared over oceans you solitary, wandering bird. My albatross.

Were you in a museum recently? I get that idea from reading your very descriptive words.

Not recently but I have visited Albert the Albatross quite a lot and wished to see an Albatross in the wild. I do not want these wonderful birds to become extinct. How terrible that future generations may not see these beautiful creatures.
