Wampus Beast

The sea of grass taller than knees Leads to area covered by trees You turn west couple degrees The eerie feeling is carried by the breeze Only grave silence you will hear Suddenly huge black cat will appear What exactly is it is unclear But it instills deep fear Like a shadow wampus beast stalks the night It is uncanny and dreadful sight Its visage showing through moons light Its sleek powerful form roaring in milky twilight Its speed senses will excite But do not take its power light For it is ready to fight And its dreadful, fearless, dead eyes reveal its might
