Walking With You

Walk next to me so I don’t get lost- I’ve c r e a t e d misery and paid the cost. sweet sorrow for you longing redemption for me saddened by your eyes Walk behind me so I can’t see your sadness- I’ve c r e a t e d your sorrow and constant madness. depression lurking accidents sometimes fatal regret fills my soul Walk in front of me so you can guide my light- I’ve c r e a t e d darkness and stole your sight. pardon my actions I’ll give you reasons to stay without you…I’d die Walk far away from me so I don’t hurt you anymore- I’ve c r e a t e d a loss for passion; your heart I tore. living without you wishing I could walk with you brings me to my knees Couplet followed by senryu Date Written: September 7, 2016

that is really cool to mix the two forms. I enjoy the way you make patterns with form and theme, Laura. Very nice!

This is what true love does, Laura! It creates sadness, misery, regrets....and even a final heart-rending sacrifice! Well done:) Regards // paul
