Walking With the Butterflies
As I stroll through the streets of Jerusalem I have many new friends. Each and every day the butterflies accompany me to and fro as I walk about the city. They flit and they flutter and they bat their exquisite wings. Such a lovely tapestry of color that flies before me! White and yellow and occasionally some maroon wings. I feel like twirling in my dress and dancing along.
As I stroll through the streets of Jerusalem I see many things. I see the hues of war on the horizon with a deep effort for peace. Even the butterflies sense it too. Sometimes they are nowhere to be seen and on other days they spin on gentle breezes with great optimism. Oh to read the minds of my new winged friends! Sometimes I serenade them with songs of our Lord. Other days I just stare at their splendor as they flit and they flutter along.
