Walking Through the Flames
I feel the intensity staring down upon me as I walk through the forest,
All eyes are on me, but it's ok.
I'm ready to face you,
I'm ready to face anyone that comes at me.
You've knocked me down again and again,
That is over now.
The time has come for you to see what you have done.
I walk out of the flames, and come to face you.
This is what you have done to me,
I see a sudden change in your eyes, but not the heart.
I lift my head and move away.
We are no longer pieces of a puzzle,
I raise my head up high, and move on.
The time for us is over, no longer shall we be a piece.
You move your way, I move mine.
You've found the pieces to complete your puzzle now it's time for me to complete mine.
You will not be apart of it.
Family is no longer there when I hear your name.
This will be goodbye.
I will stand strong; alone.
I will be completed one day.
I will get there alone,
Until the end, we shall say good bye.
