Walking the Dog

From my window I see the dog walkers as they parade past Leash in their left hand, poop bag held tightly in their right All sizes, shapes and breeds, both owners and their dogs Charges safely tethered on their leash, straining to be free Anxious to check their pee-mail or send a message on its way I see the walker poised, ready to scoop up each catch of the day Quickly wrap it tightly and tuck the warm and squishy deposit Firmly into their pocket before hurrying on their way

Donald Such a unique and interesting write. Cute and funny, with a little bit of yucky rolled in. Nice job Thanks for the great comment on my Holiday Heartache poem

No poop in the pocket for me! A hundred pound Dobbie has quite the pile... Ha,ha..I'm glad I found this! I was going to write about the same thing awhile back?

I remember those days when I had to walk my dog. It's been almost five years now since he left. Good write here.

I just came in, walking my dog "Maya". Was it me you could see from your window. Very well written, like it. Have a lovely weekend. oxox / / Anne-Lise :)

It was not you, this I know because my window is far far away. Thank you for your comment and I hope that it made you chuckle a bit.

no Anna, it wasn't you. You are too sweet. I hope I didn't offend you by laughing so much. My doggy was a big doggie and she went where ever she pleased. ~ and I wouldn't touch those land mines with a ten foot pole. haha

I got the giggles at these lines:"scoop up each catch of the day" and "and tuck the warm and squishy deposit Firmly into their pocket before hurrying on their way" aahahahaa. Thanks for the laugh and it is so true! Take care, Cindy aka Lucinda Lu Cayton
