Walking Away

I turned away from that dark direction, For I did not know the way, Towards the light of day, Was all that I was searching for, It was there,at that moment of content, I found your eyes, opened wide, The door of my heart opened,I leapt, Not like before, but with respect, The hope that I had been reaching for, Came in the form of a pure light, That gleamed from your eyes, As if a sparkle,a twinkle of hope, To this day and here after, I smile for a new reason, To give more to than what I have taken from, To where walking away is to not turning back.
