From Wisdom Quotes and Stories

"I would rather walk alone and hoe the rightful road
Than join in with others where bad seeds are sowed."
~ Artsieladie Quote

I'd much rather walk alone, With no company to be known, If on their path will place at stake, My soul in jeopardy thus will make. I'd much rather a leader be, Even if followers I cannot see. For where I'm going see I must, I shall not walk in others' dust. So should I view up ahead, Something wrong to cause me dread, I then can seek an alternate route And hope that others will follow suit. I'm not one to blindly follow, Drink of, eat, or even swallow, What others serve, offer sweet, Seemingly good for me to eat. For it to tempt me from the right, To lead me away from the Light, With what could be deceitful bait, To make Hell-fire my Eternal fate. This is a price I'm not willing to pay, To trade my soul and walk the way That others walk with little care, Leading them into deep despair. I shall walk alone if I must, In my Lord I place all my Trust, For as alone as I may appear, My Lord, my God, is Always Near.
