Walk With the Invisible Angels
They were there all the time,
living life with the brightest smile...
giving us a reason to be alive,to be happy
without pretense,resentment or greed;
and we thought they would never leave
their families and friends in that horrible way!
Walk with the invisible angels
who once defied death,and in spite of danger,
they did not turn back, or have second thoughts,
but fought with bravery and forgot their anger!
Walk with the invisible angels...
and ask them to help you cope with your fears!
Underneath the rising clous of dust,
they heard the desperate voices of strangers
and ran up the blazing towers' stairways
to lead them,by the hundreds, out of the dark...
until they rescued as many as they could;
some got out alive, many never did...
and we dug them out of the rubble for days:
hoping to find them alive and hug them!
Walk the the invisible angels
who never doubted their own strenght
and hung on their unshakable faith...
to prove the enemy that violence
is not the way to get revenge,
but it's foolishness and lack of courage!
Walk with the invisible angels
who handed us the torch of enduring light,
so that darkness would not harm us;
call their dear and sweet names:
be proud of them, and remember
that their acts of bravery forever!
Walk with the invisible angels
who hold our hands to ease our fright!
