Waking Up

8 syllables each line Wispy white clouds across the sky Looked painted to the human eye Gray clouds hung like curtains to some No way to know where they came from Thoughts I have old and new emerged In my tired mind on the verge A creative breakthrough I see Moving with the water that be Roll over the dam, it will fill The water below waiting still To wake up more on the this new day Move from the past I find my way The mountain side colored maroon White pinch of snow on top at noon My travel this day has brought light Waking up to these stunning sights Heidi Sands
