Waiting Patiently

I wish I could be there to hold you close and tight but I was holding their hands while crossing the street that night Those cars came out of nowhere to fast for me to see it was over in an instant no suffering for him or me I see that you are hurting and your heart is breaking I know but you must remain strong to help the little ones grow Keep in mind I'm holding him tight we're waiting in Heaven for you we'll stay this age forever look for us when your time there is through And....
