Waiting For Summer
There's nowhere to run
No where to hide
We feel so lost and so empty inside
The long winter days
Go one into the next
Then cabin fever sets in
And we feel quite hexed
Days lost uncounted
Snow covers the land
The depth of the powder
Slows the travel of man
We dream of the warm sun
Caressing our skin
As we all sit and wait for summer
To begin
And when the first days of summer
Have finally began
Parties, picnics and feasts fill the land
We all act like children
With new toys in our hands
For summer is finally here once again
