Waiting For Santa

It was Christmas Eve and all the kiddies waited patiently for Santa to arrive, They must have started waiting around five, Tick Tock the cuckoo clock went, Some of the children played around, pretending to be druken gents, Then the clock struck two...AM....! The kids thought Santa could not be coming again, They thought he must have been stuck in Bethlehem, So they ate the milk and cookies, and forgot about capturing Santa on film, Their spirits had been doused, The little ones bid adieu to their vigor and vim, They were tired and didn't feel like singing anymore hymns, Where was Santa? On the news, it said he made a stop in Atlanta, How many flights did he have to take in order to get to the City of Clam Bakes? Then, just like a miracle, the house began to shake a little, Santa had arrived in an open field via the Space Shuttle, Everyone was confused, What was with, the big "to do"? It was all of Santa's Christmas plan, to hep NASA and his fellowmen, A little publicity can do wonders for a corporation, Santa's excursions were bound to help the Space Programs, It was a win-win as far as he was concerned, The presents got delivered and the reindeers got a staycation, Who knows maybe by next Christmas, Santa may be worth millions?
