Wait For Me
Me, a dirty puddle, storm's left over
don't stir me up, it only gets me clouded,
These gaping wounds need healing somehow,
eventually, all won't be grim and doubted.
A hurricane of the heart
A ruthless destruction of our creation
He made our love a disaster
Through the stress of complication
Wait for me-I don't want to learn by loosing again,
Wait for me-A wound needs time to mend
Wait for me -let desire and healing trend
Wait for me-we can start at the end
He sent me broken with a filthy hollow heart,
and I was to pompous to write fragile on the side.
If you'd like be the rebound and don't play it smart,
or wait, while I piece together my pride.
You're more than a couple of times
You're too much in light of my bottom
So, If we're to make it to spring
Then stay with me thru this autumn
Wait for me- I don't want to learn by loosing again,
Wait for me- A wound needs time to mend
Wait for me- Let desire and healing trend
Wait for me- we can start at the end
I'm afraid to rush, not ready for this close approach,
I'm afraid we begin while things are undone ,
I'm afraid while broken more pain will encroach,
I'm afraid that by the time I'm ready you'll be gone.
So, if you can handle is open honest request,
a self detriment to both if we choose to deny,
the presence of hurt and the need for this test,
before your hello, allow my goodbye...
Wait for me- I don't want to learn by loosing again,
Wait for me- a wound needs time to mend
Wait for me-let desire and healing trend
Wait for me- we can start at the end
