Vulnerable

Vulnerable She danced with abandon When the rage in her needed to rage Never did she allow her timidity to intervene ’cause she needed this time to come alive For her inner death was stifling her, suffocating her She danced, escaped, to where she felt free Delivered, but still so vulnerable And it was her vulnerability that brought her back eventually To where she would feel the need And the longing to lose herself again In dance.
