Voting
Voting

Voting is the best of ways
to say what's on your mind.
If you don't go to the polls,
what you have is what you find.
A government elected
not by majority,
but by the few who turned out,
sounds like a joke to me;
I can understand the reasons,
why the turnouts are so small,
with the choices we are given,
why go there to vote at all?
We must ask ourselves the questions:
Did I really do my part?
Did I help to choose who's running?
Did I contribute from the start?
Did I hammer up the posters?
Did I spread the word about my choice?
Did I tell anyone that matters?
Did I let them hear my voice?
Did I let the rich choose for me?
Did I put up a decent fight?
There's much more to it than voting,
can be a part, it is your right
Continue to be uninvolved.
Go to the polls or not.
Keep traveling, on the road we're on,
and what you see is what you got.
